- The Story -

A remote mansion located in the forest outside raccoon city has become the spawning ground for a host of evil denizens. The results of bizarre technological experiments. The mysterious Umbrella Corporation, the mastermind behind the experiments, has set up a state of the art laboratory under the mansion where scientists have isolated the toxic-mutagen, known as the T-virus, and have spliced the human DNA with that of other creatures, creating horrific cross-breed monsters in a effort to construct the ultimate, unstoppable soldier. What has resulted from the experiments is a host of twisted, genetically altered, evil creatures who prey on human flesh to sustain their own unnatural life. The town of Raccoon City summoned the covert paramilitary unit known as S.T.A.R.S. (Special Tactics and Rescue Service) who are sent into the forest to investigate recent unexplained dissapearences. Once in the forest, the S.T.A.R.S. members stumble upon the mansion and must confront the evil creatures that dwell within

SOMETHINH WRONG IN RACCOON CITY
On the 20th of May around 10:00 pm the corpse of a 20 year old woman was found near Mable River in Raccoon City. She had teeth marks all over her mutilated arms and body. First they thought it was a grizzly or something because the teeth marks showed to be an effort of powerful jaws, but later on they changed their minds. Around that time rumors about monsters in the Arkley Mountains began to wander. The description of the monsters that they were about the same size of dogs and they ran in packs like wolves. They say that they seem like ordinary wilddogs but they are far more dangerous, stronger, faster and hard to hurt. After some time rumors grew to an officially known problem, known among the citizens of Raccoon City such as the officials. Then they decided to block the road leading to the foot hills to prevent more accidents. The RPD (Raccoon Police Department) sent in the S.T.A.R.S. to search for lost or endangered people in the Arkleys.

S.T.A.R.S. CHOPPER MADE A FORCE LANDING

They sent out the S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team for the mission but their chopper had to make a forced landing of unknown reasons, last reports says something went wrong with the engine. They radioed the RPD for help but the transmission ended after the crash. The lasting members of the S.T.A.R.S., the Alpha Team were sent out to help them. When the Alpha Team arrived at the spot they found the broken chopper on a field with high grass. They also found the remains of chopper pilot Edward Dewey. Suddenly the fierce creatures of the Arkleys attacked them and their chopper pilot chose to take off, without the rest of the crew. They were chased....

SEARCHING FOR BRAVO TEAM
While searching for the Bravo-members they discovered a major conspiracy, the story behind the fierce creatures of the Arkleys. Here is a summary of what discovered: Umbrella was officially a company developing and manufacturing pharmaceuticals but in fact they experimented with chemical warfare, due to their high crimelevel they had to cover up the tracks behind themselves carefully and had to protect their facilities with advanced boobytraps and lock systems.

One of their experiments was the T-virus, which dramatically failed and infected all the chemists which soon led the Mansion into ruins. And when there were no chemists to look after their bio-organic weapons they broke loose. The one who caused the virus outbreak was Albert Wesker, an earlier employee at the Mansion. He was part of the Tyrant project, when he got the information that the project was about to be shut down he quit his job and joined up with the S.T.A.R.S. When the S.T.A.R.S. were put into rescue, Bravo-Team their intention was to get hold of the Tyrant itself. So the virus outbreak and Bravoteam engine difficulties were all part of his masterplan.

SITUATION :

MISSION BACKGROUND :
New members of the Alpha Team arrive in Raccoon City late in the day. Earlier, strange reports come in from locals about missing people and unusual sightings of dog-like monsters. The mangled remains of a woman hiker are fished out of the river. The police notes something powerful had gotten a hold of her, judging by the depth of teeth marks. Most likely a grizzly or wolf attack.

PUBLIC DEMANDS POLICE ACTIONS :
a) Entrance to mountain barricaded
b) S.T.A.R.S. contacted
c) S.T.A.R.S. informed that the hiker was part of a tourist group that had gone into the mountains a few days earlier.
S.T.A.R.S. will join mountainside search for more hikers

Bravo Team helicopter discovers a mansion.
Engine fails. Helicopter goes down.
Contact lost with Bravo Team over mountains.
